International Day for the Eradication of Poverty
As we commemorate the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, IRIAD-The Electoral Hub advocates for equitable and just societies.
Poverty extends beyond economic deprivation, and is also perpetuated by systemic inequalities and institutional maltreatment and inequities. To eradicate poverty we must address these issues and promote inclusive governance, equal opportunities, and empower marginalized voices.
We call on governments, civil society, and individuals to join forces in: Ending systemic inequalities and inequities; empowering marginalized communities and promoting inclusive governance and social justice
