International Women’s Day 2024

Today, at IRIAD – The Electoral Hub, we join the rest of the world to celebrate women and call for the dismantling of all challenges that impede the achievement of their full potential. This year’s International Women’s Day theme, “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress,” highlights the critical importance of investing in women to drive inclusive and sustainable development.

As we celebrate, we are shining a spotlight on women in election management, as well as women who have shattered glass ceilings in various fields across Nigeria. The achievements of these women is an indicator that an investment in women is tantamount to an investment in societal growth.

We, therefore, implore all stakeholders in the public and private sector to invest in women and act toward amplifying their voices and accelerating positive change for a brighter, more inclusive future.
