The VAPP Act At 10!

A decade ago, specifically on May 25, 2015, Nigeria took a bold step to protect its citizens from all forms of violence with the enactment of the Violence Against Persons (Prohibition) Act.

As we mark 10 years of the VAPP Act, IRIAD is calling attention to 10 critical actions needed to strengthen its implementation, from full domestication across states to survivor support and inclusive justice.
