Digital Rights and Governance is a core focus at IRIAD, strengthening protections, accountability, and representation in Nigeria’s digital environment. We drive citizencentric governance that balances access to technology with accountability, safeguarding human rights, data protection, and civic engagement while promoting intersectional inclusion. Anchored in the Open Government Partnership framework, we champion freedom of expression, online safety, and content governance, as well as privacy, cybersecurity, and digital identity protection. Our priorities include digital inclusion, equity, and access for marginalized groups, with a focus on gender, youth, and vulnerable populations. IRIAD builds a humanrightsbased digital ecosystem that enhances civic participation
and inclusion.

Youth should invest in themselves and grab every chance to learn and upskill, while the Government expands access to training, skills centers, innovation hubs and prioritizes lifelong learning for all.
