Today, we honour the legacy of Nelson Mandela, a champion of justice, dignity, and equity.
Mandela represented the spirit of transformative leadership. He stood for the values of freedom, human rights, and service, values that continue to inspire movements across Africa and beyond.
This year’s theme, “It’s still in our hands to combat poverty and inequity,” is a powerful reminder that the struggle Mandela fought is far from over. Millions still face exclusion, poverty, and systemic inequity.
Let us honour Madiba in words and through action, by building systems that leave no one behind.
