International Women’s Day for Peace and Disarmament

Today, IRIAD – The Electoral Hub joins the rest of the world to commemorate the International Women’s Day for Peace and Disarmament. We laud the efforts of all women around the world who are working towards a more just and peaceful future.

We recognise the disproportionate impact of conflict and violence on women and girls, and we honour the women who have bravely spoken out against war and militarism.

Let us continue to amplify their voices and work together to build a world free from violence and weapons, where women and girls can live in peace.
